gwyneth browne



Gwyneth Browne studied drawing and painting at the West of England College of Art where she gained her ATD. Later she also worked in ceramics, screen printed textiles and batik.

She was for four years Orginising Secretary of Bath Society of Artists, and is also a member of Clifton Arts Club. Her work has been seen in the Royal West of England Academy and other exhibitions in the area.

Many paintings have been done on travels, especially through France, Germany, Italy and Spain. She worked in Greece, especially on Crete and the volcanic island of Santorini, Cyprus, Malta and in Tunisia.

She was for eight years a demonstrator for Caran d'Ache and helped to organise and exhibit with the Keynsham Arty Trail.
