Sarah studied Fine Art, specialising in Printmaking, at Falmouth School of Arts in Cornwall. After leaving University she had a period of working as an Industrial Screenprinter and then found herself working in Mental Health after running art groups on Psychiatric Units. Latterly she worked in the Voluntary Sector with a Homelessness charity. Feeling dissatisfied with the time that she had to dedicate to printmaking and drawing she started to devote more time to her practice. Initially she made prints at home on an old kitchen table but at the end of 2012 started printing at Marshfield Screen Print, an open access studio just outside of Bath, where she now also works as the Technician part-time.

When making images she is interested in possibility - the boundless possibilities that screen printing offers and the possibilities that occur in the everyday and ordinary (or as Georges Perec said, the "infraordinary, what happens when seemingly nothing happens"). Where will an overheard conversation or chance encounter take you? Animals and birds are a fascination and play a large part in the work, usually domestic and often take on the character people.

Sarah has exhibited at the various open exhibitions including the Victoria Art Gallery in Bath and became a member of the Bath society of Artists in 2013.
